The BESS Balance Mat comprises the three traditional stances of the Balance Error Scoring System (BESS) used worldwide for testing athletes for assessment and management of concussion and traumatic brain injury (TBI)

Over 500 athletes have already been tested on the BESS Balance Mat. We are building a national database of normative data for athletes from all sporting codes. This database is in the form of three separate dynamic graphs for the three stances.
