Balance Mat Pty Ltd is committed to protecting your data security and privacy.

We value the trust you place in Balance Mat Pty Ltd Services (defined as all of Balance Mat Pty Ltd's websites, services, products including computerised mat hardware and the Balance Mat Test Results System database where information is stored) to help you measure, track and improve your clients' health and wellbeing. We have strict controls to ensure the privacy and security of the data you collect is not compromised.

The information on this page is a general guide to our privacy and security practices. For specific details see our End User Licence Agreement (EULA), Terms of Service (TOS), Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and Cookie Policy pages.

Consent by individuals to have their balance data, biodata and health condition status information collected and stored for treatment and periodic comparison is governed by your usual medical / allied health protocols. It is therefore your responsibility to have appropriate privacy and security practices in place to cover your use of Balance Mat Services. This is because you hold more comprehensive personal information than Balance Mat Services does. Balance Mat Services only collects and stores de-identified data related to balance testing.

Balance Mat Services will only collect minimum data items that are necessary to provide our services, therefore ensuring data minimisation principles are met.

We collect personal data about you in the form of name, telephone number and email address in order to process your registration and provide you with our Services. We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy, which is accessible via the footer of the website.

Please note that we are not liable to you or any other party if interference or damage to your computer or mobile systems occurs in connection with the use of our Services or a linked website. You must take your own precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use from our Services or a linked website is free of any virus, malware or other interference that may interfere with or damage your computer or mobile operating systems.

We may, from time to time and without notice, change or add to the Services, including the Terms of Service (TOS), Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and Privacy Policy, or the information, products or services described. However, we do not undertake to keep any of the Services updated. We make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our website or information provided through our Services is accurate, complete or up-to-date. We are not liable to you or anyone else if errors occur in the information on our Services or if that information is not up-to-date.

We never sell, lease, trade or rent any personally identifiable data to any third parties.   We may provide reporting and analytics to end users, other partners, including research partners, and prospective clients of Balance Mat Services. These data and analytics provide an aggregated summary of balance test results and health metrics generated by Balance Mat Services and contain no personally identifiable information.

The purposes of sharing balance date with end users, partners, research partners and other parties specified above is to provide health related insights about large cohorts of users, develop more accurate, personalised and effective health prediction and prevention services and to promote the use of Balance Mat Services.

We use hardware, software and physical security measures to maintain the security of data collected on Balance Mat Services, including our database where information is stored. We use individual- record level encryption on our stored data.

All Balance Mat Services data is stored in Amazon Web Services Relational Database Service (AWS RDS).

Access to stored data is strictly limited to the End User.

Personal information, including first name and last name, is encrypted. Encryption is performed using a user-specific secret key. The secret key is generated randomly and is 16 digits long. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption is employed for the user secret key.

Each End User's unique 16-digit secret key is used to encrypt and decrypt their personal data. The key generation process is randomised to enhance security. This structure ensures that End User data remains confidential and protected from unauthorised access.

The encryption measures deployed ensure the security and privacy of End User information. Only the authorised End User can view the data they have collected.

The use of the AWS RDS combined with AES encryption measures outlined above provides a robust security framework for Balance Mat Services.
